(We'll update this page as progress is made)
The prototype of Agile Sky was first deployed by Agile Aviation Pty Ltd in early 2025, and has been the subject of extensive testing and iterative solution development.
The system was redesigned and re-imagined for commercial deployment under an STC, in collaboration with Pilatus.
This has involved development of designing dedicated equipment mounting systems, custom wiring looms, selection and programming of in-cabin gateway equipment, system performance testing, aircraft interference testing and documentation.
At the present time, we are well advanced on the joint development and approval process toward being granted an Australian Supplementary Type Certificate (STC). We are working with CASA and with our engineering development partner, Five Rings Aerospace, on this outcome.
Based on the positive rate of progress on the process so far, we feel it is realistic to have the STC process completed by mid 2026. Please note that while we feed positive about this timeframe, it is not guaranteed.
We are currently accepting orders for the deployment of Agile Sky on PC-12's in Australia, and we'll commence scheduling installations once our STC is approved.
If you'd like to be in the deployment list, please fill in a Service Enquiry form and we'll send you back some more information to get the ball rolling.
Once the CASA STC is granted, we will start scheduling installations.
At that time we will also commence the application process for an FAA STC, based on the Australian STC.
The process of obtaining reciprocal recognition is simpler than obtaining an STC from scratch. Accordingly we have reason to be optimistic about obtaining an FAA STC based on the Australian STC in late 2026/early 2027.
